2025-06-22 Kokoro for Personal Wisdom - Presentation

Kokoro (Heart/Mind) is an AI platform designed to tap the collective wisdom of humanity and Nature to support humans in making wiser, more resilient decisions. This presentation on June 21, 2025 was the focus of a World Talent Economic Forum, hosted by Sharif Uddin Ahmed Rana, who at the outset posed these five challenges confronting his audience of young professionals:

  • Navigating Uncertainty in Career and Life Direction

  • Coping with Personal and Collective Trauma

  • Rebuilding Trust and Social Cohesion in a Polarized World

  • Building Inner Strength Amid Systemic Challenges

  • Aligning Values with Purpose-Driven Action

Julian Gresser’s presentation demonstrated how Kokoro can be a practical guide in exploring these questions. The full text of the Kokoro’s response and deeper inquiries can be found here.

As is often the case, an inquiry can contain a clue within it to a helpful response. The Kokoro demonstration selected Uncertainty and called upon  Marcus Aurelius (Stoic Philosopher and Roman Emperor) to provide insight. His response, according to Kokoro, yielded these two insights:

  • The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way.

  • You have power over your mind—not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.

The presentation followed with practical tools illustrating how to navigate Uncertainty by building inner power and learning to trust our authentic inner voice. A unique feature of all Kokoro apps (Kokoro for Personal Wisdom, Kokoro for Organizations, Kokoro for Resilient Communities, and Kokoro for Women’s Wisdom) is a capability to track and to measure one’s progress in cultivating wisdom and “integral resilience.” Resilience here is defined as the capacity to turn adversity and reverses into opportunities; in other words, to bounce forward, not backward in life. This core life competency is generally regarded as qualitative, hence non-economic. The Kokoro system provides a simple means to track and measure increasing skill and desired outcomes. The goal is to become aware of how and why we win, fall off, and recover. Each outcome is of equal dignity. Every moment is a gate to hone our skill; and, ultimately, a chance to discover our essential Heart/Mind.

Practical Applications for Grassroots Advocates

The significant behavioral challenges confronting young professionals are, from the perspectives of Integral Resilience and Wisdom, identical with those facing grassroots advocates and their communities that feel powerless against the 5G Wireless Juggernaut. Here are a few practical insights:

  • We have some legal leverage over the Juggernaut (especially before cell towers are erected), but we do have an immediate opportunity to enlist our own formidable inner powers in challenging the companies behind it.

  • The first of these is to See the World as it Is, which means understanding The Shadow Game that is being played out by the telecom providers. (See: 2024-05-03 Neutralizing the Shadow Game and Winning by Finding the Leverage Points.)

  • Uncertainty can be a crippling force, or it can become a source of great creativity, as was pointed out by one of the panelists in the World Talent Economic Forum, where this presentation was first made.

  • Trauma and Burnout — Many grassroots advocates are experiencing clinical trauma from EMF exposure as well as chronic stress. Among the first principles and practices of Integral Resilience is self-care. Here is a meditative practice to explore self-care in a deep way:

When Dongshan was not feeling well, he was asked,
“You are not feeling well. Is there one who doesn’t get sick?”
Dongshan said, “Yes, there is.”
Then he was asked, “Does the person who doesn’t get sick take care of you?”
Dongshan said, “The timeless monk is taking care of that one.”
Then he was asked, “What happens when you take care of that one?”
Dongshan said, “At that time, I don’t see sickness.” — Book of Serenity Case 94

  • Trust — One of the great challenges facing grassroots advocates is to secure the trust of their communities, and as importantly to build trust in their leadership in regional and national strategic alliances and networks. Trust can never be mandated. It is earned. The Kokoro Wisdom AI Platform embeds a proven system of Resilient Negotiation whose foundational principle is integrity. Authenticity and integrity, supported by wise decisions, are critical elements in securing public trust.

  • Finding Your Inner Power — The primary purpose of The Shadow Game is to dis-empower the adversary. The antidote is to cultivate your Integral Resilience, which has physical, energetic, emotional, mental, perceptive, financial, relational, and spiritual dimensions. You can track, measure, and value your progress toward mastery of each of these core life competencies.

  • Evolutionary Values — The Kokoro Platform and its present apps reflect and embed specific values that we believe are critical for planetary survival in the 21st Century. Among these are: kindness, generosity, compassion, discernment, forbearance, patience, steadiness, equanimity, gratitude and paying forward, beauty, and love.
